This Application (FLOOSS) is made available to you by the Payment International Enterprise B.S.C (Closed), a company incorporated and existing under the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, having its address is at Office No 41 Al Saffar House Bldg 1042 Rd 3621 Block 436 AlSeef District Bahrain (referred to in this Privacy Policy as ‘PIE, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’).

This Privacy Policy (the Privacy Policy) relates to your use of our application and mobile application which offers payment services available at: Google Play store, Apple Appstore or specific PIE’s domain or subdomains. 

We take your privacy very seriously and want you and your associates (referred to in this Privacy Policy as ‘you’ and ‘your’) to feel secure whenever you use the App or provide us with your personal information. We are devoted to responsible information handling practices and have set out our approach to handling your information collected in connection with the App in our Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy establishes an integral part of the App’s terms and conditions. By submitting your information to us you consent to us using your information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, then you must stop using or accessing the App.

How we collect your personal information

We collect two types of information about you: (1) personally-identifiable information (PII) provided by you to us as well as information we learn about you from your use of our services and the App; and (2) information we gather that allows us to understand and enhance the operation of the App, which cannot be used to identify you.

We are storing the following information in our systems if required and their usage is explained below:

Full Name, National ID/CPR details, Passport Details, Date of Birth, Nationality, Address, Gender, Occupation, pictures, financial documents, biometrics  if applicable will be collected as your personal profile details and kept for Know your customer (KYC) purposes as instructed by the Central Bank of Bahrain. This data is also shared with authorized and well reputed sanction list providers to check your information against sanctions lists.

We collect personally identifiable information about you only when you specifically give it to us or through our partners. We may also collect information relating to the transactions you carry out, including details of any bank accounts, e-wallet or other payments methods you use to transact to and from the App. We do not generally disclose this information to third parties except in the circumstances set out in the next section.

We may store your email or phone number which are required for easier communication and to send alerts, transaction details, one-time password (OTP), receipts and promotional material.

Sharing your personal information with third parties

We may share your personal information with third party providers so they can provide you with certain payment services through the App. We will require these third-party providers to take steps to ensure that your information is kept secure and used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, we shall not be liable for any unauthorized use of your personal information by a third party provider.

This Privacy Policy only applies to personal information collected on the App. Although the App may provide links to websites of third parties, such as banks, this Privacy Policy does not apply to any other application or website that you connect to or from the App. We are not responsible for the content or practices of applications and websites operated by third parties that are linked to or from the App.

Marketing communications

We may send marketing information to you in relation to promotions that we run from time to time or service offerings we consider may be of interest to you.

Third party providers will not be permitted to market to you directly in connection with other services they offer. In an event that you receive any such marketing communication that you have not specifically requested you should let us know immediately.

Protecting your personal information

The transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. We will do our best to protect your personal information while it is in our possession, however, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted online or over the App.

We recognize industry standards and employ security controls to protect personally identifiable information from unauthorized access and misuse. All information you provide to us is stored in our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be protected and secured by employing industry’s leading encryption standards.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Any changes we may make to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on the App and, where appropriate, notified to you. By continuing to use the App you will be deemed to accept the changes to this Privacy Policy.

This Service may contain links to other web sites or web services. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that URL. Note that these external websites are not operated/managed by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites.
